I finally got the hang of driving. We drove from Ennis to Galloway and decided to secure a bed and breakfast before we went out exploring. We found an awesome B&B right outside of town with an incredible view of open fields and a castle. We went inside to see if there were vacancies. A very elderly irish woman greeted us at the door, she had to have been 70 years old and let us know that her residence was all booked up but she would make a phone call to her friend. She told the person on the other end that she had 3 lovely people needing a place for the night and that she was doing her 'good deed of the day'. The person on the other end said they had vacancies so the elderly woman told us she would drive us over and to 'keep after' her. Needless to say, there was a reason she told us to keep after. She pulled out of her drivway and was zero to 100km in no time flat. Windy hilly half as wide as they should be roads for about 15 minutes.
We ended up at a Bed and Breakfast right off of the main road. We unpacked and decided to venture out into town. The unfortunate thing about Ireland is that every thing closes so early. Even the gas station stores are closed by 7pm. We decided to see what McDonalds was like in Ireland, so we each paid clost to 8euro for a Value Meal. it was nothing like the fast food they serve back home. Burger was HUGE (way bigger than in teh states) different roll, toppings and some mystery sauce. Fries were about the same but without salt. Even the soda and ketchup tasted different. After we were done getting some dinner, we decided to catch up on some sleep, since all of the bars closed at 11 and it was 10:50.
