Journal entry from a small cafe in Ennis, Co. Claire. Made it to Ennis from our B&B after some much needed shut eye. We are sitting in a small cafe off of the beaten path enjoying some sandwiches and coffee. Ennis is a great little town, where boutique shops line the street. They are just as many tourists as locals. Our first stop when we got into town was the local camera shop to pick up film and a few accessories. They shop keepers were very helpful and friendly and suggested we go and get drunk immediately. First things first, we needed some food. The special at Ger'Z place is a toasted sesame bagel with cranberry sauce, goats cheese arugula lettuce and turkey. It is served piping hot with a side salad, cole slaw and a coffee for 6.25 €. John and I each got the special and Patrick had a chicken ceasar wrap. Everything was delicious. What an interesting combination.
