Journal entry from Cliffs of Moher.
We drove to see the Cliffs of Moher, in Claire County. It is the most popular site in the area. The cliffs rise above the water about 650 feet and we were able to catch them right at sunset. It was a pretty clear day, and the rocks in the cliffs were really colorful. Overall, we had a very productive first day in Ireland. Tomorrow morning we will enjoy the breakfast portion of our B&B and head out to Galloway.
