After breakfast we caught a bus to the Cameron Highlands, which should have only taken 4 hours, but because of heavy traffic was delayed by a further 3 hours. We left Koh Samui at 6.30am for a long day of travelling to George Town. We caught a mini bus to the pier, followed by a boat journey to mainland Thailand and then a public bus from the port to Hat Yai which took about 5 hours.
