Hola todos! So it´s Friday! The last day of my first week of classes. Sorry I´ve been slackin the past couple of days! Wednesday on my way home from class, I planned to go home take a niiiice siesta and then go meet a friend to buy my skype headset at Corte de Inglés (a store where you can buy almost anything) well, I never got that siesta. There is this bar on the corner of my street and on my way home my family was hanging out there and stopped me and call med over! So they ended up buying me a few rounds of Cruzcampo (la cerveza de Sevilla) and then they wanted to go to another bar for tapas!! So of course I went because I was having so much fun talking with them and practicing my Spanish. They all love flamenco and were teaching me the claps and they all sing too so it was fun to hear and experience a little more flamenco! So we went to the other bar and had som delicious food and then I went to meet my friend, skyped with Reston on my way home and went to mi cama!!

Yesterday my class went on a trip to visit a National Park called Doñana. It is the largest national park in the world. It was very interesting, but it was just a park...... And, then we went for lunch, and on our way home we visited the harbor from which Christopher Columbus set sail, so that was pretty neat :o) And then last night we all went out and had a bllllaassst!!! First we went to a bar called Big Ben, and then we went to this club called Buddha because we all had free passes. They play all American music and it´s so funny because all the Spaniards sing the words, and so I asked one of them if they knew what they were saying, and they were like ¡Noo....no sabemos nada! Right now I think I am going to go home and for real this time take a nap, and then a bunch of us are going to a free concert tonight for a bit. But we have to turn in early because we´re leaving tomorrow morning at 8:30 for Extremadura which is a province north of Sevilla, so no I am not going to the beach anymore this weekend :o( because we heard it was supposed to not be very warm, so we´re going to hold off until next weekend and stay at one of our guide´s beach house in Cadíz!
