This morning we left Grand Junction by 7:00am. Andrew drove while Bethany slept between navigating. We arrived in Moab, Utah and were into Arches National Park by 9am. Since it was only in the 90's we went for a few hikes before the temperature went up into the 100's. "MOOSE" Yelled a kid in our campground this morning as we were putting the last of our stuff in the car this morning. This morning we packed up our tent earlier than we would have liked because we couldn't watch our tent get pushed around by the wind anymore (Big Bully). From Hill City, we drove past Mt. Rushmore and took some more photos, then did a quick driveby of Deadwood, which actually was surrounded by hills full of dead standing trees (called "stags" - Bethany note), then drove through the Spearfish Canyon on our way back north to I-90.
