Today we decided we weren't going to do any significant driving. We had another night at camp and we thought we would chill for the day. We got the oil changed on Dora and waited for that to be done. Plus it was just down the road so not far. While doing that, we looked round the supermarket and decided we would buy a whole chicken and fresh rolls for dinner. Plus some plastic cutlery to carve with. We went back to get Dora and I couldn't quite hear the lady behind the counter and made a fool of myself. Causing much hilarity for the whole tire shop. After that we planned to buy our food. That was just before we had a quick stop at GameStop and Walmart just to look around. We bought the chicken afterwards obviously, we didn't want that to get cold. Whilst outside of gamestop Marie saw a man crash into someone else's car. She made a comment about the tree, but it was too soon. Still a touchy subject. We went back to camp and carved the chicken with great difficulty and also had some crisps too. It was very nice indeed and a welcome change from a takeaway. We even had the leftovers for tea. Marie had a rather long afternoon nap, while I caught up on my reading. That night marie was still tired somehow and she went to sleep, I wasn't far behind. Back on the road again tomorrow.
