Today we set off for Yosemite National Park, which was 3 hours drive away. This was one of our big national park destinations and we were looking forward to it. Today started off badly, after managing to avoid traffic, cars obstacles and everything else in America so far. I managed to graze Dora on a tree. By graze I mean I broke the back light. I was gutted, my only because it's not my car, it's the first time something like that had happened. So naturally, that was first on the agenda, to try and fix her. Today we were heading North along the coast to Santa Margarita, a KOA nestled in the hills alongside the West coast. It was a 5 hour drive and we set off from Palm Springs in some serious heat, we had done washing that morning too, so we left a little later than usual, and were on the road by 11. But we were headed for Palm Springs, with natural healing hot springs in camp, so were excited for that. So naturally we filled up on breakfast big time, because we were going to be sad to leave it.
