Today we woke up in our luxury room excited, we extended our stay so that we didn't have to check out of a hotel and check in to another one, losing the daytime. That meant we had all day to enjoy the facilities, we went downstairs for breakfast and went to the buffet restaurant, naturally. So today we had a fairly long drive to Vegas, not just to Vegas itself, but just outside. Boulder City and lake mead was where we were heading. We would be covering another big chunk of Route 66 leading up to a place called Kingman.
