We were setting off today for the Grand Canyon, we got up and got ready, not in hiking boots yet, but comfortable clothing and headed to Walmart for a healthy breakfast. Today we were heading towards Flagstaff, further West on the Route 66 trail, we would be going through Winslow again and on towards the Grand Canyon. Tonight we would be staying at the Route 66 famous Wig wam Motel in Holbrook, having done the petrified forest in the previous 2 days, we had some time to kill. This part of the petrified forest was the part with the actual forest in it, or petrified forest, and those two things look very different. We were seeing the parts of the petrified forest today, that we hadn't yet seen, so the second half basically.
