The hostel we arrived at in Siem Reap was called Mad Monkey as well….as it is linked to the one in Phnom Penh. This one was even better, as it had a swimming pool as well as a rooftop bar. We checked in and then went off to find a crazy golf course we had seen signs for. It turned out to be quite a long walk away, but when we got there it was a good course. We woke up at 9 as we had to be at the pier for half 10 to catch the 40 minute speed ferry to Koh Rong. Lloyd woke up feeling really rough and had to run straight to the toilet to throw up, not a good start to the day. We arrived in Sihanoukville late afternoon so we went straight to the hostel we were recommended by a few people, Monkey Republic, we also wanted to stay here as we knew this is the place you could book Monkey Island which is a tiny resort on a remote island called Koh Rong.
