The hostel we arrived at in Siem Reap was called Mad Monkey as well….as it is linked to the one in Phnom Penh. This one was even better, as it had a swimming pool as well as a rooftop bar. We checked in and then went off to find a crazy golf course we had seen signs for. It turned out to be quite a long walk away, but when we got there it was a good course. It had 14 really difficult holes, and if you managed to get a hole-in-one… you get a free beer. After doing the 14 holes it became clear it was only possible to get a hole-in-one on 1 or 2 holes, which none of us did… but we came close. Ben was the best player and won the crazy golf… he would of beat us by miles but had one hole that he took quite a few shots on.

That night we agreed to meet Rich, Sam and Jamie, who we had met that morning at the hostel, at the rooftop bar to see what the nightlife had to offer. We had heard good things! These 3 lads are top guys and we all got on really well straight away…. Jamie has to be one of the funniest guys we've ever met! After meeting a few other people in the bar, and bumping into other people we had met before in other places, we headed to where all the bars are…. Pub Street!! There are lots of bars here but there are two bars opposite each other where most people go. Everyone dances and drinks either inside the bars, or in the street between the two, so it sort of becomes one big party…. Really good night out!
