After waking up on the campsite we got started early and headed up to on eof the view points outside Lake taupo. This view gave us a panoramic of the lake and the surrounding countryside, it was a beautifull start to the day and it only got more impressive as we headed to Huka Falls. This was an incredible waterfall to watch as the wated thunders through a small gorge and powers out the other side. It was a great start to the day and a fitting end to our journey to the south of the North island. We had decided last night to head back to Auckland and see a few more bits that were on offer there! This meant it was another day soaking in New Zealands amazing countryside as we headed back home! Arriving later in the evening this meant a nice home cooked meal, a fews beers, the sofa and a comfy bed were on the agenda for the rest of the day!
