Becky Bravo's Adventures
So here we are at our very last day. Much like yesterday there is not much to share unless you would like a play by play of our extreme nap we took in our cabana. ;)
The day started pretty cool as the final bit of our honeymoon package included a romantic breakfast in bed. The food was already ordered, and right at 8am, they actually came into the room as opposed to putting it in the box, got everything set up for us, and the guy served us mimosas while we were still in bed. That was pretty darn cool.
After eating breakfast, we headed down to our reserved cabana and just chilled for the better part of the day. Something that really hit me with how perfect this honeymoon has been happened right when we got to the cabana. There was a musician out there right behind us playing an acoustic set of just guitar music, and the second song he played after we laid down was the Lava song from the Disney Pixar Short Lava. (at the beginning of Inside Out) I LOVE THIS SONG! I didn't even ask him to play it! But it was just like this perfect little moment as Jaime and I were just laying down, looking at the waves of the ocean, soaking in our last hours, and that song came on. Was perfect like a movie soundtrack.
We spent quite a bit of time in the ocean and even tried paddle boarding for a while. We also hung out in the pool some more and enjoyed some awesome live music while floating around and drinking. Yes, we did enjoy some Dirty Monkeys as it was our last day.
For lunch we went to the buffet, but for dinner, we went back to Aqua, the restaurant from our first night, and our romantic dinner. We had one last awesome fancy meal before heading back to our room to pack.
So that is it. We survived our wedding, had an epic and wonderful honeymoon, and now tomorrow we head back to start real life as a married couple. We are looking forward to that very much. As well as picking up Winnie from Doggy Day Care. ;)
Whoever reads this, I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it. A lot of what I write about is more for me (and Jaime) as documentation of the trips so we can look back on it and remember everything in detail. That is why I post and share every little thing including an insane amount of food photos.
I will write a quick update tomorrow just to you know we arrived home safely. We have the weekend to recover, then back to work and real life on Monday.
