Today there is not really much to share other than a few fun photos. We hung out at the swim up bar in the main pool for quite a bit and met some really awesome people. One couple we were talking to were on their honeymoon as well, so it was super fun sharing our wedding stories. We ended up seeing them at a different bar later after dinner and talked to them for a super long time then too. They were from Houston and were a great couple.
I am not sure if they have this drink everywhere, but here in Costa Rica they have a mixed drink called a Dirty Monkey, and it is made with bananas and rum, and chocolate drizzle and I am not even sure what else, but we had a bunch of those today.
We ended the night with another great dinner at the restaurant here called Seaside, and then the resort had a street circus show in the amphitheater. It was cool juggling acts and acrobatic acts, not the kind of circus with creepy clowns.
So something cool about this resort that I am pretty sure I mentioned in my first entry, is that in addition to everything else, there is 24 hour room service here. And even better, they have what they call the "secrets box" where when they bring stuff to your room, there is a box where it opens from the outside and inside, however locks from the inside. So when they bring your room service tray, they just leave it in there and then call you to let you know it is there, (although you can usually hear them put it in) you take it out, eat it, and put all the dishes and empty glasses back in the box, and call them to come pick it up. They do not even have to come into your room. And the room service menu is awesome. Burgers, fries, build-your-own pizza, drinks of your choice, chips and guacamole, and just a whole bunch of cool stuff. We have ordered room service pretty much every day since we have been here except one day I think. I mean why not, right?
Now to go back to yesterday a bit, I felt awesome at the end of our hike because I was like I spent all day in the actual rain forest and did not get any bug bites!! Well these little blood sucker bugs here must have delayed reaction bites, because they got me good. I have 6 huge bites just on my arms, and all over my legs. I brought that After-Bite stuff just in case because I know I am prone to bug bites, but it is not helping!! I itch everywhere!!! But when I am in the pool I don't think about it. But looking forward for those to heal.
So tomorrow is our last day as we have to catch the shuttle to the airport at about 5am Thursday. We are looking forward to another relaxing day. Another part of our honeymoon package was a private beach side cabana, so we reserved ours for tomorrow and will pretty much just be hanging out there all day.
