So despite an interesting bus journey (thank to a women and her child thinking 3 people fit on two seats and falling asleep on top of me) we arrived in phnom penh. We then went to the mad monkey hostel and luckily they just had enough space! Then we went to see s-21. A school that got taken over during the khmer rouge, and turned into a prison where they would torture people for confessions before sending them to the killing fields. Then we headed to the river front for dinner, and found somewhere selling amazingly lush pad Thai! The next day we got a tuktuk to the killing fields. The ticket include an audio guide which was really interesting. There were still bones and rags of clothes visible which was really sad. Then we headed to the russian market where they basically sell loads of abercrombie/ holister/ Ralph Lauren etc clothes, like an outlet store really- the clothes have slight imperfections. After having lunch at the riverfront we went to the royal palace- it reminded me of the grand palace in Bangkok a bit. Sadly we had less than an hour to walk round because they were closing, but it was still nice to see. Back at the hostel, we had a drink with some of the guys in Emily, mcall and sizzas dorm before dinner. We then met them at a bar later and then went back to the hostel to get ready for our early morning bus to Ho Chi Minh.
