Got a phone call today from Steve, he'd just managed 40km more with a really bad knee. Lisa went to pick him up, he's back now and struggling like mad. Hugh is out there alone now soldiering on with a few blisters. I really hope my feet are good by Tuesday as I need to get back out and meet Hugh. Steve's definitely out for a further few days till his knee is good! This track is eating us alive... Everyone we have spoke to have taken 8-10 weeks to complete. We have been told several times we're mad for trying to complete it in 20 days...
