Woke up early this morning to smash the last day up! Set off on the sandy track! Nothing usual with the incline. The track was awesome today, raining a fair bit which was good because the snakes won't be out! Steve was setting a right pace... We initially thought we'd be finished by 1pm but at this rate would be more like 11:30. We went past the wind farm. The sandy track became a wooden jetty which became I little hard on the feet! Made all the huts in record time. Then came over a crest and there was Albany! What a view, we all started singing random songs. Spirits were on a high! Some of the signs in Albany were rubbish so kept getting lost a little. Came round a corner and heard the boys. Could see Steve getting emotional. Put my hand on his shoulder, he said this is it! Then the boys came running over the bridge! What a moment for Steve and the boys, the tears came. Seeing everyone at the finish was over whelming. I had a moment at the side while interviews were going on! Then I was asked to say a few words for the Albany Paper. Mick met us with beers, they went down so well! Came back to an amazing house on the hill and partied on in to the night! It's been a fantastic adventure and for a great cause! Love my OZ family to bits! Now get my feet up!!!!!!
