Today dawned cool, rainy and windy - a total change from yesterday's 26 degree (albeit windy) day.
Decided today was a good day to stay put and watch the rain plop on the river either from under the awning or through the window.
The sun did shine through for a while, but the rain stopped and started, leaving muddy, slushy pools of water on the gravel roads in the park.
We spent the afternoon watching the second Marigold Hotel movie, only venturing out at 6pm to head down to the local Crown Hotel for happy hour and live music. Our neighbours were already there so we joined them for drinks by the fire and ended up staying for dinner and enjoying the local band until it finished at 10pm.
All up, a lovely, restful and enjoyable day.
