Slept in late and had a lazy day today, starting with a delicious brunch of scrambled eggs and roasted capsicum sitting outside by the river. Had a quiet day today, relaxing by the river (yes, again) and contemplating life. Gadi went for a long kayak ride and I went to get a couple of things from the supermarket. Lazy morning today, followed by lunch at a local cafe and and an afternoon drive back to the lovely Trentham Estate on the banks of the Murray River to sip delicious chilled red wine and eat a platter of cheese, dried fruit and olives outside on the lawn. No rain today, just clouds and around 16 degrees. We headed off to the nearby town of Merbein for the Great Australian Vanilla Slice Bake Off. Today dawned cool, rainy and windy - a total change from yesterday's 26 degree (albeit windy) day. Decided today was a good day to stay put and watch the rain plop on the river either from under the awning or through the window.
