Hi all So I have been a bit slack with the blog updating and I am now in Perth a lot has happened since July…I'll write about my last week in Brisbane and take it from there.

We left our lovely apartment - thousands bags of rubbish later, 2 bottles of wine drunk, 1 large maxi taxi and we were off to our new temporary home "Bunk" hostel in the Valley, Brisbane. The hostel was a pleasant surprise, our rooms were clean (minus the cockroaches I have accepted these are everywhere and I could deal with…or so I thought!), the beds had their own little sections for "privacy" and own little lamp - quite cosy.

By day 2 I was well and truly over hostels and wanted to leave. ASAP.

More bad news about the zucchini job it was pushed back AGAIN I decide, I may as well get started on the fruit picking and so myself and Emma left Brisbane for Bundaberg (7.5 hours on a bus) and stayed at Cellblock…more on this later.

Our last night in Brisbane was a good one, it was just myself, gemma and Jill and some of her/our work friends - Emma was spending the last night with Nick (grr he he!!). Finally repacked my suitcase AGAIN and off we went downstairs to the bar at the hostel for cheeky drink!! We then went to The Exchange - our favourite place for wine/vodka and dancing times  Then we headed to Jill's work - Port Office hotel where we had lots more drinks, tequila, vodka, wine, jagerbombs…it was a messssy evening! We staggered home around half 6 in the morning and fell into bed. An hour and half later and I was up in the shower and leaving for Brisbane Transit centre to meet Emma.
Jill and Gemma came with me to say our goodbyes…little did we know we would be seeing them quicker than we thought!
Was sad saying goodbye and leaving Brisbane - I really liked it there!

Brisbane key points:

• Getting a job - I worked for a hot headed Italian restaurant, a crappy filing job and then a 3 month job with FKP Property Group - the people were lovely there and the job was very good/easy/perfect for moi 
• Getting an apartment with Jill, Emma and Gemma - we got a 2 bed apartment - I and gemma got the ensuite bedroom, the place came with a pool and gym - it was pretty.
• Morten Bay Island with Emma and Gemma this was a very fun day - slightly cold, went sand boarding, snorkelling around old ship wrecks, and most importantly I saw whales and Turtles - heaven!
• The Full Moon Evening.
• Many drunken nights out with the girlies/guys: D
• The make-up day - went to this corporate make up store and spent a fortune on discounted prices for mac/dior/bobbi brown etc - it was awesome!
• $5 cocktails
• Emma & Gemmas birthday antics!
• Kate came to stay
• BBQ's/Cultural day with Gemma/Sunday Sessions…and so much more!!
