we said our sad goodbyes to ralph and barbra and headed to wellington on the bus, it only took a few hours so didnt get there too late. we didnt spend long in wellington coz the hostels are expensive, plus its kind of just another city.

the highlight of wellington for me was finding english terrys chocolate oranges in the supermarket!!! i bought 4 and ate them in less than 3 days. we did pretend to be interlectual and went to the museum but it was naff and we spent most of our time in the cafe.

we did see a part where they filmed some of lord of the rings, and it did look lord of the ringsy but forgot to get a photo.

we got the ferry the next morning to the south island. the ferry was mint, had comfy armchairs and tv's etc it didnt look or feel like a boat. i would of been fine if i didnt eat too much terrys chocolate orange...
