our flight had a bit of a delay because of a technical hitch but we still arrived in hobart at a decent time. we realised on the plane that we had forgotten to book our bus to launceston, haha, but got it booked after we landed and got it for $16 with our student cards which was brilliant considering our shuttle from the airport to the city was $15.

we met a girl on the shuttle bus called sammy who was from hobart and she showed us around as we had a couple of hours to kill before the bus arrived. i bought a bottle of posh merlo for chris and janine which turned out to be minging. well i thought it was.

we arrived in launceston to be greeted by chris (my mams cousin) who showed us around a bit and took us to his house where we stayed. the house was lush, a big tree house style house in the bush with a huge veggie patch so we ate well at his house.

they took us to alot of places in the car which was nice coz it gave us a feel of what tasmania was like. we even went to the same beach my gran, grandad, uncle jack and aunty mary had been to years ago which was nice.

we went to a lush place called wine glass bay which was really picturesque. we had a couple of trips to the casino for some food and a go on the 'pokies' haha. we lost, but the food was nice.

we met jonny and troy my 3rd cousins, and their parteners, and they were really nice so we met up a couple of times.

chris and janine took us along the east coast, the north east and the north west, then took us down to hobart yesterday to go to the salamanca market, which was huge! and i bought some lush photo albums. we stayed in a lush little holiday park and had a game of mini golf then had a thai meal which was lush. it was a really nice way to end the trip.

we really enjoyed our stay in tasmania and being in a house again was lush!

after a teary goodbye we got dropped of at the yha to stay in our 12 bed dorm... oh the fun...
