on the way to taupo we stopped at the huka falls, this was a waterfall but the water was such a lush colour and iv never seen water go so fast in my life. its a 100m wide river sqashed into a 15m wide gauge so its pretty fast! we also went to a hunny farm and saw the bumble bees :) i bought some honey because i was exited haha.

when we were in taupo we decided to do the tongariro crossing, a 18.5km hike over the most active volcanos in new zealand. that was cool, we climbed up mount doom off lord of the rings, the walked though the active crater which was steaming, then saw some lush lakes which also stank etc. we were scared of missing the bus so power walked it in 6hours and had to wait ages for the bus in the end haha. my walkin shoes proper killed my feet! so they went in the bin when we got back.
