We started our Oz Experience today by leaving Cairns at 8am and setting off for Mission Beach! our fist stop was AJ Hacketts bungy site, where Christen was brave enough to do the Mingin Swing, which is a huge swing where 3 people are attached. its then hoisted up to 45m and released and you go flying through the air very very quickly!!! after that we stopped for lunch at Eacham Lake, which was a beautiful huge freshwater lake where you could swim, although it was very cold!!! our next stop was Mila Mila Falls - waterfalls where we could again stop and swim. after that came the best part of the whole day!!! a visit to the crocodile farm!! we arrived just in time for feeding, and watched all the crocodiles being fed whole chickens! we also saw a cassowary - the most dangerous bird in the whole world! then we were given bread and allowed to feed all the kangaroos that were roaming around! they were the sweetest things ever! some even had babies in their pouches!!! to top all of that off we both held baby crocodiles which were 18 months old, and Christen had snake round her neck! after the crocodile farm we drove for another hour and arrived at Mission Beach where we were told there was a fancy dress party that evening, and the theme was anything beginning with 'D'!! so in true style we dressed in our own clothes and went as 'divas', with a pair of sunglasses on!!
