Well, what can i say about Hervey Bay......there isn't much to do!!! lol its pretty much just a retirement village, and if it weren't the 'gateway to Fraser Island' then i'm pretty sure they wouldn't receive much tourism!! Saying that, we have had a nice relaxing day doing nothing at all!! We had a well deserved lie in after weeks of getting up at 6am, and then wandered down to the town - which was almost a 30 minute walk!! We bought a few souvenirs and then trekked back to the hostel, and spent the rest of the afternoon doing our washing - which took hours seeing as we haven't done any since Singapore!!!! Then we cooked ourselves some soup for dinner and went back to our comfy beds for the night!
