Hello everyone! hope ur all not missing us too much!! well we've finally arrived in Bangkok after a very long and very tiring journey of almost 16 hours! the damn plane was delayed for 3 hours once we were all sitting on it!! but we got here eventually!! Bangkok itself is a crazy city with cars and people everywhere. We experienced the super speedy driving yesterday on our way from the airport - that was a moment to be remembered! Our hotel was nice and clean, infact we liked it so much we decided to stay for another nite!! although we are currently trying to find somewhere else to stay as it is pretty pricey at about 10 pounds a night (even if we do get a very tasty breakfast of noodles for free!) we are in khao san road atm, which is supposed to be THE place for backpackers like ourselves!! they even have a Boots here, which seems to be much cheaper than in England, as long as you dont mind strange smelling shampoo, such as Egg and Beer! nice!! think we'll be giving that one a miss! Bangkok is very smelly and there are lots of homeless people sleeping in every place possible, also the taxi drivers dont leave u alone, telling you they'll take you to just about anywhere for 50 baht, suspicious we think!! we are majorly jet lagged, woke up at 1.30am and were ready to get up!! but we'll get used to it soon enough! today we are going to try and hunt down a market and try our hands at haggling!! mucho love for each and every one of u xxxx
