After some more bumpy boat riding & boring van trip we arrived in Boquete. Hmmmmm not really sure why this spot is on the tour. Was all gee'd up ready to tackle some more water rafting but there was no water :(.

My 6ft 2 roomie, Jen, & I were given the room at the top of the hostel which required climbing a rickety, little winding staircase. I found this tricky wearing my pack but for Jen it was nigh on impossible. Our tour leader was, as usual, most unhelpful but after much cajoling he helped with the packs! (See photo of Jen on the now infamous stairs). Have some rather lovely bruises, thanks stairs!

Dinner at Peruvian place called Machu Pichu. I know...Peruvian food in Pamania....what's up with that??! Corvina in piscine sauce & fresh strawberry juice. Yummy!

Oh top fact...Corvina is translated into English on menus as sea bass. Apparently the German translation when translated again into English is Ocean Raven. Brilliant!
