Boosted my energy with a delish hot choc, fresh strawberry juice & sarnie in the renovated cafe full of quirky antiques, most of which you could buy. Couldn't resist trying out the 1920s telephone.

Santiago really is a pretty city despite the smog & plethora of American fast food joints. Most travellers I met had been very rude about Santiago but I found it charming :).

Visited the education museum named after the Nobel Laureate poet, Gabriella Mistral. Quirky little museum. This tiny, 1930s cupboard in the corner is where the naughty children were sent & locked in as punishment :(.
