We're entering our fourth week in Darwin now and starting to feel like we're residents! The Cook family have gone to Brisbane for the holidays and we are able to stay at their house until we leave for the next chapter of our adventure - the Kimberley's, which should be around the 11th July. In the meantime, we're enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of Darwin and the awesome sunsets, as well as attending a few different churches and meeting new people and catching up with our lovely nieces and nephews. We have both been able to pick up some casual work too - Alf has been working at the new prison which is nearing completion, doing a variety of labouring jobs (no, not correctional officer!), and I have done a few shifts at the hospital's maternity unit. The weather has been really nice now that the 'dry season' has arrived. Last week we were actually quite 'cold' as the temperature dropped to about 16 degrees! Turning into a 'territorian' already?!

Liz Dodd Hi, Remember me? You sold us your house in Bray park, I worked for you in the warehouse. I was looking you up to ask you something and discovered this blog. What a wonderful journey you are both on. So good to see you both enjoying yourselves so much and I praise God for it. What a beautiful part of the world.
