San Diego!!
The drive out of Vegas was depressing to say the least we had all had so much fun but weren't feeling the best.
I slept pretty much the entire journey which should of taken 6 hours...famous saying 'take a U turn' struck again...took about 8.5.
Setting the tent up after being in planet Hollywood was just cruel I felt filthy again within 4 seconds of being outside.
Drove to the gas lamp quarter the next morning for a stroll around...I think the none stop 33 days we'd just had has caught up on us as everyone was like a zombie! So just had food and headed down to mission beach for a little sunbathe and then gave up and went to the bar. Got back to the van a little merry.. Kirsty has decided we're setting up a trek uk next summer and visiting everyone's home town ha.
Went for a group dinner to find the place we'd made reservations with that afternoon has now closed down until further notice??? So just grabbed take out and ate on the beach.
Packed up camp for the last time this morning :( although we will be glad NEVER to see that tent again.
Had a mini award ceremony before we left. Mart got voted muscle man for always loading the trailer with heavy stuff and I got voted cheerful chipmunk as no matter how covered in ants or hot I was I always replied that I'm fineeeee!
It's an emotional morning as no one wants it to end.
Heading to Hollywood now for last minute sightseeing before we go to our hotel for the night.
Kate and tamar fly out tonight and me an mart get out bus to San Fran tomorrow morning!
