Last few days have been amazing!

last day we spent with si we went pottering around tarrytown and sleepy hollow...we walked alot (im sensing a theme here). got very lost ended up in an irish pub of course. mart keeps shouting at me because whenever we go anywhere with air conditioning im automatically freezing! on the night si took us to buffalo wild wings. literally the best place on the earth.. at the front it says wings, beer, sport. what more could you want?? we have discovered a new way of saving money, americans give you such big portions we only eat half box the rest and save it for the next day haha scruffs!!
so si dropped us off at enterprise, cost a little more than expected but as mart was sweating a lot at the thought of driving we got better insurance. turns out drivings really easy. the drive to canada is so beautiful :) i obviously fell asleep because thats what i do. hired a sat nav, no way in hell we'd have found it otherwise. found the canadian border no probs. checked in to a little motel!
you walk down a really steep hill (it was about 6pm) and your see the american falls straight away. blew me away...then you turn the corner and you see the horseshoe falls which make the others look like a joke. its immense!! we pottered around for ageeeeees looking at them taking 4000000 photos. we went for a few beers then overlooking the falls, was magical- mart was v happy.
about 9pm they all lit up played about with the camera and got some amazing shots, dont know when i should upload all of these? ive only really been doing ones off the iphone. so woke today to a disaster.

was packing away and my zip broke on my backpack, i cried, mart was rly good at telling me it would be ok, ive decided as from tomorrow im chucking half my stuff away. anyway i had a few deep breaths and deicded to get over it. we had cereal for breakfast (can tell we're in canada its not a burger) and went for another potter. mart was being really secretive about where we were staying...now i understand why.

we pottered around gwarping at the falls and then went on the maid of the mist, hilarious. they give you a poncho and you still get drenched...mart was making similar noises to a rollercoaster!! was so funny... its really surreal being right under the falls, was good fun. so after that i was dry except my poor converse who are currently drying.
we then checked into the ''hostel'' mart told me he had sorted. turns out he'd booked and paid for a suite in the embassy.... 38 floors up overlooking the falls... we have a sitting room and a massive bedroom with a fire place with big windows where you can see both falls, the bathroom has a jacuzzi which has big doors where you can also see the falls...its all abit ridiculous. were going to eat steak tonight, massively flashpacking. LOVE IT!!!!
