After leaving new orleans we headed down to lafayette Louisiana to meet cajun jack. he gave us a guided swamp tour which was pretty surreal.. cant believe people actually live in there. cajun jack was funny, such a southern man! rode down the bayu (i have no idea how to spell that) meet some swap people and saw some gators!
carried on down to austin texas..long drive!!
arrived staying in little cabins which are nice had dinner and the guys had got me a cake and cards for my birthday. headed out to 6th street which is crazy. drinks were soooo cheap like $2 a vodka...i had to hide the rest of the money from mart after he'd spent most of it! watched murray win the tennis as well which was a bonus.
ended up in a bar with a rodeo bull...the man was such a perve.. if you were male he pretty much spun it so fast you fell off immediatley if you were female...he just made the bull jiggle..one poor girl had a dress on which ended up over her head ha!
everyone was a little hungover today so we went to barton springs which looks like a massive pool but its a natural spring..ice cold which was amazing in the heat. had a proper texas bbq for dinner - they seriously know how to cook their meat!!
making the most of the cabins tonight as we are camping for 2 whole weeks now until vegas...
off to san antonio tomorrow and then staying in ballmarie west texas!!
