Thanks to a tip from the neighbours here we found out this little gem. Another Airshow and the chance to see the Lancaster!! When we got there it was a full on show with the local military enthusiasts dressed up in period uniforms driving around in armoured cars and all sorts of other vehicles. There was even a bloke dressed up as Churchill and lots of senior officers walking around with wives in 40's dresses. I think it shows a good state of understanding when you can have a bunch of Englishmen dressed up as Panzer troops sitting on a Mark IV tank. Of course in the reinactments they lost. Could have easily filled my suitcase with stuff from here but was good. For a show run by locals the whole organisation was slick, there must have been a few thousand people there but no issues with parking or access etc. A few of our shows could learn from these guys.
