There was a bit of sleeping in today and we didn't really get going until after lunch. Amanda, Jasper and Claudie bought a baby swing for James. While they did that, I went to a bike shop in Preston. It was excellent, I bought new MTB shoes and was very tempted to buy a new bike!

Then we went to Paula and Matt's again this evening. Paula ordered fish and chips and Matt took me to his favourite microbrewery for a brief tasting. J & C assembled the swing (with a little help from me) and James seemed quite happy with it. Time spent with Matt and Paula is always great. Everyone laughs. Jasper had been admiring Matt's Bluetooth keyboard remote and asking how he could get one. At the end of the night, Matt gave it to him. Jasper was so excited his hands were shaking and he went bright red - I don't think he could quite believe it. He thanked Matt with deep appreciation.

I connected my laptop to Matt's TV and showed a lot of the photos from the trip. Matt especially seemed interested but there are too many to show them as they are - I will have to make up a 'highlights package' before we go home. At various points during the evening, J & C would jump in, pause the slideshow, and start talking excitedly about what they remembered from that place. It was awesome. They have learned and remembered many things.
