The limestone rock formations that make this part of the coast famous certainly are impressive. Everyone has heard of the 12 Apostles but there's a heap more of them stretched out for many kms. My favourite is probably 'London Bridge' or 'The Thunder Cave'. Lots of tourists, bus loads of Japanese people.
The drive through the Otways is excellent fun, constantly up and down and all twisty. Not surprisingly popular with motorcycles. There's a bike ride through here each year - must do that sometime. There's forest, ridiculously green diary farms with ridiculously fat cows and then wonderful views of hills rolling down to the ocean. It was overcast today and the sight of clouds rolling off the tops of hills and over the ocean was awesome.
We lunched on fish and chips at Apollo Bay. It's a bit bigger than the other tiny little villages we drove though. The Bay itself is beautiful but the water was freezing! No-one dared go in past the toes.
