Finally the Met day has arrived, yet another one of those days that everyone has not stopped talking about since we stepped off the plane in late November… The J&B Met is South Africa's biggest and best known race day and it's held at the Kenilworth Racecourse in Cape Town. The Queen's Place is one of South Africa's biggest race meetings. The theme for the day this year was blue and white as is was sponsored by Drakenstein Stud and their racing colours are also blue and white.
