Day 30 - Chilli Beach, QLD Just relaxing by the beach. Said goodbye to our travel friends for a day or so. Headed to Portland Roads to a nice little cafe for a coffee and some lovely Spanish mackerel and chips for lunch. Day 29 - Chilli Beach, QLD Bramwell Junction Roadhouse to Chilli Beach via the Frenchmans Track crossing through the Wenlock river and the Pascoe River.

Day 28 - Bramwell Junction Roadhouse We left the most beautiful place so far (Punsand Bay) and headed south. It was a funny feeling as we were sort of coming down from a high from making the tip and it was sort of the end to that stage of our trip. We had another stop off in Bamaga for some more supplies and then took a detour out to see a couple of old plane wrecks from World War 2. Day 27 - Monday 9th November Lay day at Punsand Bay campground. Croc hunting in the morning,(saw one early in the morning sun baking on the beach) the relax at camp, bit of brekky, then pool, then jatz and cheese and beer and wine for lunch then pool, then relax then more beer and wine! A bit of trip planning for the next leg in there somewhere also.

Day 26 - Sunday 8th November Punsand Bay to the tip via Roma flats 4wd route then to Somerset beach and the 5 beaches 4wd loop and freshwater lake on the way back. Saw a python/some sort of snake in the toilets. Saw two crocs early in the morning walking along the beach and some tracks where they had been sun baking
