We are going to see the changing of the guard today, and the Buckingham Palace State Rooms, which are only open for about a month each year. First day in London we decide to get tickets for a double decker bus tour around town. We have done these in most places and they are a great way to get the lay of the land, so you can decide what to go back to another day. We managed to get up on time today, quick breakfast in the hotel, and we are our way. London here we come ! Again we all sleep in, this is becoming a habit, you would think we had time to waste, but we don't, we are going to do Bath in just a day, well we will try anyway. We leave our lovely apartment in Fort Augustus knowing we probably have a ten or twelve hour drive ahead of us. Seeing as every drive so far has been longer than expected. We end about four hours on the road before we even leave Scotland. God I hope the roads are faster from here on.
