Well, 13 hours on a plane and here we are in Dubai, arrived at midnight, we don't leave until 9.00 am for Hamburg.

Clearly some of us a faring much better than others. I think I have managed about an hours sleep, which is nowhere near enough for me to be in good humour..........

Having said that, everything has been smooth and on time.

Having our tickets booked through Qantas points has been a bonus. We were approached by the cabin staff manager, given a tour of first class, and taken upstairs to the first class lounge , given drinks, and chocolates, and told to stay as long as we liked, it was great to stretch the legs for a while !!! Don't worry I was checking to see if there were any spare seats anywhere.........not one. The plane was at capacity, I didn't see a spare anywhere. We are going try and get some sleep now, and then on to Hamburg later.
