Our last day in London and we wake again to sunshine, we get all the packing finished, and leave the apartment about 10.00. Stupidly or not, we are taking the tube to Leannes place instead of Mike picking us up. So we follow their directions until we are stopped and told the line we want to be on is closed for track work, how typical. So we get on a much longer route, and what should have taken less than an hour takes 2 hours, with 2 giant suitcases and 3 pieces...

With no kids, we decide to wash, pack and go see a few things we missed in London. We stop for a civilised cooked breakfast, with no arguments or yelling, no indigestion like when we eat out with the kids ! We go back to Buckingham Palace. We actually didnt get a good look at the front the other day because of the massive crowds, and there is so much to see out the front too. Then we just wander around , catch a few buses and end up home in the afternoon, time...

We are having a bit of a slow start today, Mike is picking us up from the dungeon (that is what we have named the apartment) at 11.30. Mike and Leanne are going to have the kids for the last 2 nights of the trip, so we basically pack up the kids ready for the flight home. We are up early today, as we are going to Madame Toussauds, and we have been booked for an arrival time of 9.00. So on the tube by 7.30 thinking it would be packed with commuters. We are meeting Leanne and the boys for a kids day out today, so we get on the tube and meet them at Leicester Square. For the first time on our trip, we have a rainy day, but can't complain, they say it will fine up this afternoon. First stop is M&M World. Four levels of wall to wall chocolate and paraphernalia.
