Again we all sleep in, this is becoming a habit, you would think we had time to waste, but we don't, we are going to do Bath in just a day, well we will try anyway.
First we visited the Royal Crescent, impressive building but Noel was well disappointed that they hadn't weeded in a while.
We took a winding walk through the streets and lovely shops till we found the Bath Abbey, what a beautiful church, inside and out, we spent ages in there.
Next was the Roman Baths, also well worth a visit, although I'm not sure why, but I was surprised that you had to pay to get in, costs about fourty pounds for the five of us. I guess that since we left Paris, most things have been free to get in, and I was getting used to it. Better get that out of my head, seeing as we are leaving for London tomorrow.
After the Roman Baths, we had a late lunch and spent the afternoon wandering the shopping precinct, as you can imagine it was thrilling for the boys.........
By the time we get back to the hotel it was 7pm, so takeaway again it is, luckily there are heaps of great restaurants near us, I voted going out for dinner, but I was on my own after a full day of walking.
Bath is a lovely place to visit, I wish we had another day.
Tomorrow on the way (sort of) to London, we are going to Stonehenge.
