We leave our lovely apartment in Fort Augustus knowing we probably have a ten or twelve hour drive ahead of us. Seeing as every drive so far has been longer than expected.
We end about four hours on the road before we even leave Scotland. God I hope the roads are faster from here on.
Everything was smooth till we came across traffic about two hours from Bath, we sat for about half an hour, crawling along, and then found no reason for it, talk about frustrating !
Finally we reach Bath eleven hours after leaving Fort Augustus. Tired and cranky, we check in the motel. Noel, AJ and I went for a walk to find dinner. After a quick takeaway meal, we are all happy just to be out of the car and in a comfy bed.......
