Much slower days this week, have enjoyed checking out some more of Paris like the D'Orsey Museum & the Museum of Modern Art at the Pompidou building. Other than that we went back to Notre Dame & have wandered lots more back streets including a visit back to Rue de Rosier. We have enjoyed seeing the other side of the river at St Germain but really felt a connection with Marais, it just had such a different feel to it, perhaps it was just that this was our 1st contact with Paris & we love it here. Who knows maybe we'll be back in the future. Last night in spite of our 1st really rainy cold evening of our trip we ventured out to a very small out of the way restaurant called L'estrapade which had been recommended by our great tour guide Martin. It was well worth it as we had our last official dinner here, highlights being Charlie's stuffed pigeon & my fig & goats cheese entree. This evening we enjoyed a last walk in the sunshine then started repacking accompanied with some yummy Japanese takeaway & a bottle of rose, tough life. Greg Jones b'day today & our last full day in Paris! Ps. The cover photo is one of a chocolate shop creation that we saw yesterday!
