We travelled from Brive to Limoges on Friday morning to see the beautiful ceramics showroom. There was some lovely china but a tad heavy, fragile & expensive for our trip home. From Poitiers we caught the THV fast train to Paris. After some downtime we the headed out to our much awaited Moulin Rouge dinner & cabaret. It was all we'd hoped for & more! Our evening was filled with a myriad of colours,dancing,amazing costumes & exciting acts, stunning tableaux & overall wonderful entertainment! A very memorable evening! Yesterday we spent the afternoon sightseeing firstly with a boat ride on the Seine through Paris, then by bus around many local iconic sights including Napoleon's Tomb. We finished our day & tour with a lovely Parisian dinner of snails & duck l'orange. Today after a disappointing outcome with the rugby we went for a good walk from our hotel to the Arc de Triomphe & des Champs Élysées in beautiful sunshine! We have been extremely lucky with wonderful weather our entire time overseas! Last days now in an apartment in St Germain. Will make the most of them before leaving here to fly home on Thursday.
