The world is my school. This is my classroom, a campervan in the South Island, New Zealand. Slowly opening, my eyes can see again. I am fully awake once I grab my book and start reading. The Hobbit. I've seen the movie but I wonder to myself if the book is any different. I feel like I have been reading forever when I haven't even finished the first chapter. I stop anyway. Blue and white jeans, or blue jeans? I think to myself as I pick some shorts out to wear over my bathing suit. By the time I pick my clothes out my Mom comes back from a run. I go, get changed and by the time I get back, Mom is trying to rush out to where all the moms want to go. The Spa. I go to the playground with my sisters while we are waiting to go meet up with Mama at the Thermal Pools. Hot tubs to waterslides. They have it all. We all can't wait to go so we start making way as soon as we are ready. Nobody wants to leave once we settle in to the springs so we end up staying the whole day. My favorite thing here is their Apple and Cinnamon Muffins and the Superbowl Water Slide. The Superbowl is a tube that you go through for about 5 seconds, but that's not all, the tube is connected to a giant blue and yellow checkered bowl that you go in and spin around and around till you get to the middle and go into another tube that leads you to the end of the slide. I went on that around 3 times. 1st, with Captain O, and we loved it. 2nd, with Captain O again and this time we had a blast but when we were going to enter the last tube to go to the bottom we started going on backwards and Captain O started freaking out! She jumped out of the floaty and started holding on to the side so she wouldn't go down backwards. I kept on saying to her "Get back in the floaty and stop being such a baby!" We ended up both tumbling down and first she went under then popped her head up through the hole in the float then I did the same right behind her. We finally made it to the bottom when the lady asked us if we were OK, and you know when your not OK, you're shivering and scared but you say your OK anyway. That's what we did.
That was a great day but we have to start heading back to the camper. We get back and get all showered up then go back to the playground. We met a really nice girl there and we asked here if we could meet back up with her after we ate dinner and so she told us where she was staying and we went off. We never ended up going back to see her because it was really dark out and we wouldn't be able to play anything with her. It was getting darker and darker out and Captain O and me were sitting together in the van. We knew our mom would be back soon but then I heard the window open from the outside and I knew she was trying to scare us. I was not surprised at all when her hands were spookily waving around through the window. Once she got back around to the door acting normal I gave her two words.
Good night.

Gran Gautney Hi Belle, You know how I love the water and wearing my bathing suit (ready for any occasion) so your day sounded so inviting from many perspectives. Are the people friendly?
