Greetings readers
The town of Wyndham was very fascinating with an amazing museum full of history of this very small and remote town. Our neighbour at the motor camp was a Kiwi from Ruatoria who has lived in Auzz for many years and had served once in Timor and twice in Vietnam. He was a very friendly and interesting guy to talk to with that good Kiwi sense of humour and he enjoyed living at the camp full time. We had decided to treat ourselves out for a meal and a lady we met said that the local club had good meals so at 5pm we drove the 5 k/m's to the out of the way club. The barman who had to sign us in had no personality or people skills what so ever and didn't look very professional so alarm bells started ringing ! Once inside we discovered that there were only 8 other people in there who were all rough looking Indigenous people so it was just a very quick drink and we were out of there like scolded dingos ! Funny how food is not all that important at times !!!! Leaving tomorrow to start the over 1000km journey towards Darwin.
