After the Lava tubes we kept on keeping on to Atherton. When we were near Atherton we struck green rolling hills and the first green grass since Hells Gate. When we got into Atherton we went for a shop and went to the caravan park. Next to the park there was a big hill that Jack, Lachie and I walked up. The next day we went to four waterfalls, they were called, Malanda Falls, Millaa Millaa Falls, Zillie Falls and Ellinjaa Falls. My favourite was Ellinjaa falls, it had a big waterfall and rapids. After that we went to an historic town called Herberton for lunch at the old pub. We got to play the juke box and pool for free. We went back to the van and had a swim in the pool then went back up the hill before the sun set.
