We left Lawn Hill and headed towards Burketown. The road had half tar and half dirt it was very very bumpy. When we got to Burketown we drove around then had lunch at a nice park where we had lunch and a play at the park. After that went out to the river where we camped. We drove along the bank for a while to pick a camp. When we picked a camp we set up and had a rest and had tea then played a game and went to bed, we got eaten by Sandflys. Over the next few days we relaxed, fished and eat. That day before we left we weren’t lucky enough to catch a barra so we sadly had to buy a fillet of barra and some prawns. Dad cooked the fish up for tea and peeled the prawns while mum and I prepared the salad. After we sat around the fire and got bitten by more sandflys then we played spoons and then went to bed. The next day we went fishing off a bridge but only caught catfish. On the way out of town we went to the bore, the bore is uncontrolled the water coming out of the ground at 65 deg , if you touched it you would burn yourself.
