Kakadu - Gunlom
September 14 - today we drove from Edith falls to Gunlom which is in Kakadu national park. We had to drive out a corrugated dirt road to get out to Gunlom, we had a feu loose cupboards and our big aerial fell off the front of the car. When we got into Kakadu the termite mounds got to 2-3 meters tall and 1-2 m meters wide, they also changed colour because of the different colour of the dirt. When we arrived we had lunch and then went to the bottom water hole and water fall we brought our books down and read and swam. We swam over to the water fall and jumped off rocks. When we were sitting in the water we saw a huge wurley- wind. Then Dad Jack and I walk to the top pool and on the way up we saw that the path had been sealed so when it rained it didn't wash the path away. When we got up to the top we went for a swim and went over to the water fall and looked down and saw Mum and Lachie on the bank of the bottom water hole, we took some awesome photos of us standing on the water fall. When we got down we had happy hour and tea. We also went croc hunting with a torch and then went to bed.
